Frequently Asked Questions
The SDG Innovation Expo is open to all engineering students across India. The Internal Hackathon is exclusively for students enrolled at Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT), Coimbatore.
Teams can have 2–4 members for the Expo track. The Internal Hackathon requires exactly 3 members per team. Individuals may also participate in the Expo track.
A working prototype is strongly encouraged and will be evaluated positively. However, a well-developed conceptual model or simulation is also accepted, as long as it clearly addresses a chosen SDG theme.

Projects are evaluated on: SDG Alignment & Impact (30%), Technical Feasibility (25%), Innovation & Creativity (25%), and Presentation Quality (20%). An expert panel of industry professionals and faculty will serve as judges.
Yes. All participating teams will receive a certificate of participation. Winners will receive certificates of merit along with their prizes from ASME TN Section and ASME SRIT.
